My name is Austen, and I’m a fifteen year old guy living near Vancouver, British Columbia. I’ve been interested in money since I was around six, at which time I opened my first bank account with a deposit of $400 (gift money that had been saved by/for me since I was born). Since then I’ve had a number of home run businesses, ranging from a ‘paper airplane company’ to being an online freelance writer. I started Teen Money Canada in early 2009, and have been attempting to impart my ‘wisdom’ unto others since then.
